Every part of an Intent candle is engineered for one of two outcomes: a cleaner burn, or a longer life. Plant based wax. Lead free wick. Phthalate free fragrance. A vessel made to be kept, refilled, replanted in. Hand poured in small batches in Vancouver. Never airfreighted, never mass produced.

Coconut wax burns 50% slower and 25% cooler than paraffin. Soy makes it pourable and clean. Both are plant based, biodegradable, and renewable on a one year cycle. We don't use paraffin. It's a petroleum byproduct, full stop.
Cheap candles use lead cored wicks for stiffness. We don't. Our wicks are 100% braided cotton. Zero lead, zero zinc, zero metal of any kind. Every wick is hand trimmed before packaging.
Phthalates are endocrine disruptors hiding in most fragrance blends. Our oils are formulated without them, infused with natural essential oils where the scent profile calls for it (vetiver, cedar, cade in Arouse; bergamot in three of the five).
The ceramic vessel is the best part of the candle, and the part most people throw away. Ours is hand finished and dimensioned for second life. Plant a succulent, hold pens, keep what matters. The jar supports zero landfill. Cotton outer bag is made from organic, undyed cotton.
