INTENT is a Vancouver-based candle company built on a simple idea: every scent should come with an intention.
Founded by two Vancouver locals with a long-standing passion for candles and fragrance, we set out to create a product that is not only aesthetically pleasing, but genuinely purposeful. After years of being in the candle market, we noticed something missing. While there are countless candles to choose from, very few offer anything beyond a pleasant scent. We wanted more than fragrance, we wanted meaning.
That’s where INTENT began: a candle designed to enhance your space while giving you a clear intention to return to each time you light it. Whether you’re trying to focus while working from home, unwind after a busy day, or find clarity in a noisy moment, INTENT helps you set the tone.
We live busy lives, whether balancing sports, work, reading, cooking, and everything in between, we have experienced firsthand how the right atmosphere can shift your mindset. Creating scents that support how you want to feel has been genuinely valuable for us, and our goal is to bring that same experience to others.

Our Sustainability
At INTENT, sustainability is thoughtfully built into every candle we create. We carefully select cleaner, responsibly sourced ingredients, including our natural coconut and soy wax blend and cotton, lead and zinc free wicks, to ensure a safer, more natural burn.
Our reusable ceramic vessels are designed to be refilled and repurposed, helping reduce landfill waste while maintaining a luxury experience. Even our packaging reflects this mindset, using reusable cotton bags instead of single use paper or plastic.
We believe thoughtful design should extend beyond appearance. Every decision we make is guided by our goal to create candles that support both personal wellness and environmental responsibility.
